Currently HubSpot will only create association or edit record in a workflow if the properties match exactly. Allowing for approximate matching (with a review step to give the user a chance to correct any unwanted associations or record edits) would be helpful in circumventing small typos or extra spaces in eixsting data.
For the Create associations action in a workflow, if there are over 100 matching objects, it shows the error “This request could not be completed.
