Is It Safe to Run a Penetration Test on a HubSpot CMS Website?

Hi team,

We’re planning to run a penetration test (pentest) on a live website built using HubSpot CMS to evaluate its security.

Before proceeding, I want to confirm:

  1. Will running a pentest have any negative impact on the frontend experience or CMS backend functionality?

  2. Are there any precautions, limitations, or official HubSpot guidelines we should follow when conducting a pentest on a HubSpot-hosted site?

  3. Do we need to notify HubSpot Support in advance to prevent any interruptions or false-positive flags?

We want to ensure the test runs safely without affecting the site’s performance or availability.
