Splitting “Full Name” into First and Last Name (No-Code Workaround Needed)

As part of a new strategy to increase form submissions, we’ve decided to simplify our forms by combining the First Name and Last Name fields into a single “Full Name” field.

 

My concern is that this will leave HubSpot’s default First Name and Last Name properties blank, which could impact personalization, segmentation, and data consistency across the CRM.

 

I’m looking for a no-code workaround to automatically split the value from the “Full Name” custom property into the default First Name and Last Name fields.

 

Has anyone tackled something similar? Would love to hear your approach or ideas!
